Water Clerk

The Carney Public Utilities Authority (C.P.U.A.) clerk performs many duties vital to the daily operations of our local government. Listed below are just a few of the responsibilities of the CPUA Clerk:

• Collects and reviews monthly water meter usage information for Carney residents 
• Processes and distributes monthly water bills to customers
• Provides information, answers questions, and works with customers to help resolve issues and/or maintain services
• Has and maintains a Water & Wastewater Operations license certified by Oklahoma DEQ for operating systems in the absence of the Superintendant and/or regular system operator
• Submits monthly water/wastewater reports to maintain compliance with the State of Oklahoma.
• Issues public notifications and alerts required for public safety when necessary by means of social media and/or by mail.
